What is the Metabolic Balance program?
Healthy food is the basis for everything. Food is medicine, and the Metabolic Balance program uses real food to balance hormones, reduce inflammation, and unhealthy weight. The plan was developed in 2001 by a Doctor and Nutrition Scientist. Your plan is based on a combination of your wellness goal and your 36 blood values.
How much weight can I lose?
You will be coached and guided along your weight loss journey. A healthy weight loss is 2 pounds per week, in order to keep it sustainable, along with healthy habit shifts. Our clients have 10 pounds to lose, and some have upwards of 100 pounds to lose. Whatever your goal, your plan will be supportive.
How long is the program?
The program is divided into 4 phases. You will be coached for 3 months, then invited to join the Metabolic Momentum membership if you need further monthly support.
Phase 1: a 2 day cleanse to prepare for the program
Phase 2: a strict conversion phase for 14 days where you follow your personal nutrition plan, allowing the foods on your list to reduce inflammation in your body and balance nutrients
Phase 3: a more relaxed phase where you will be coached on how to implement new foods into your plan, including wine, sweets, and other foods of your choice
Phase 4: the lifelong maintenance phase where you now know what a balanced meal looks like for you, how to stay accountable, and how to stay on top of your wellness goals.
Do I have to track points or count calories?
No you do not! Your plan will outline foods in their perfect quantities for you to follow in order to find balance. Your coach will recommend that you keep a diet diary with notes so that you can be self accountable and make the necessary habit shifts that accompany sustainable weight loss.
What does the program cost?
The program is $1195CAD and includes the blood test, the nutrition plan, and 6 coaching calls on zoom and/or telephone.
